... or have there not been any '59 Plymouths on eBay lately? I'm beginning to wonder if I busted my search somehow.

no plymouths, but i've noticed several '58-'59 edsels. i wouldn't be suprised if there will be a rush, being that tax return time is coming soon.--jeremy

Is ebay the best way to sell a car like this?
"This" being my 59sportfury
As the car draws closer to completion, I am forced to consider sale
Just curious to know how people have found prices for these cars on ebay

Hi Everyone I am new to the forum.

I always use EBAY to determine the Real market value of any products. Try searching on EBAY using:
Plymouth (59, 1959, '59)
and check the box on the left side of screen marked completed items. This will show you exactly what has been bid on completed auctions.

You can then sort by price , highest first, at the top of the price column. That usually brings up the cars since they are the most expensive 59 items.
