1959 Fury

Post by Matthew Keij »

Well, it isn't mine! While reading an american car ad's magazine I found it!
This is what it says:

1959 Plymouth Fury, 2 dr HT, nice orig car.
Part old resto & part orig, recent paint black.
UPH red, engine, trans, some chrome.
318, auto, power brakes, swivel seats.
Real good looking car, never no rust or damage.
Exc condition, drive home.
$12900 or int trade.
336-859-2371 day.-ke NAA03012 / 00443381101

Who was the one that was looking for a Fury? This may be his chance!
From the pic (you see the DS) it looks complete. Has a front valance and it's 2 tone

Ran that phone number thru Google and it comes up Ridges Specialty Cars in Denton, North Carolina. Matthew, it's got to be frustrating to read these ads for cars and parts and they are are a zillion miles away. I'm looking to buy a Gremlin (yes, a Gremlin) and I'll see one for sale on the west or east coast and thats too far for me.

aint that the truth? I was down in Portland, OR at the Fall swap meet and there were TWO Gremlins..one was a mess, but the other one was well kept. Remember the Pacer? There is one in the next town..a daily driver. Then I saw one of the last Matadors (mid-70's?) going down the road the other day. How could I miss those oversize headlights?
yes, this is the 59 Plymouth site, but orphans have a bond-
