59 Plymouth Suburban Sport - Saskatchewan

Hello,

Picked up a 59 Plymouth Suburban sport with a 313 a few weekends ago. The previous owner had the car for a longtime and has put many many hours of blood sweat and probably tears into this car.

Looking forward (no pun intended) to many years of enjoying the car and putting my own touches to it.

Welcome aboard, Joe! As we have discussed on Facebook, your wagon appeared in the movie "Falling Angels" (clips of which can be found here) before it was repainted. Besides the wagon, Burt owned two other '59's at one time - a Belvedere convertible (his wife's, actually) which had a previous life in Hawaii, and a Fury hardtop. All painted in similar shades of Petty Blue.

I have contact info for the guy with the Fury, who has contact info for the guy with the Belvy! The latter was not kind to it, and the former is trying to buy it... I will have to check in and see where things stand.

Welcome to the site Joe. I saw that wagon parked in front of the Bushwacker 2 years ago and always wondered where it lived. Then I ran into the owner( Bert) and saw the wagon for sale in his driveway when I bought some parts from him. Glad to hear it stayed close to home. No expert in these cars, but if you had a question, get in touch.
