items for sale
Hello Folks,
Sorry, but I cannot list parts for sale here at the same time as I am listing them on Ebay. I need to raise as much cash as possible, as my car is in the shop and the bills are climbing each day. If you are in need of parts, please go to Ebay and run a search on "59 Plymouth"...that is the category in which I am listing these parts

I must be cautious here...I do NOT want you to think of me as some old grinch hoarding valuable parts!
First and foremost, cleaning out the garage is a erratic operation. I have roughly 1-2 hours per day to try to accomplish this.
Although my stuff is somewhat sorted, I do not have a plan for what I want to sell, or when. It is an ongoing process, one that takes a lot of time.
Secondly, as I stated before, I need to get as much as I can for these parts, as the bill for completing my car is BIG. I know that each of you is able to access Ebay and bid along with everyone else who is watching.
Ron asks if I have a list of items I am NOT going to put on Ebay. I do not have a list, but I DO have damaged parts, and a few items that just wouldn't attract bidders, such as 10 pieces of 59 Belv anodized inserts, some taken from a sedan, and some from a hardtop. They are dirty, stained, and far from perfect. It would cost me $5 to list the group on Ebay, and it isnt worth it to me.
I have 3 or 4 generators, salvaged from junkyards, but the armatures are frozen. I think I should just throw them out.
I have several interior (firewall-mounted) heater blowers...if I list one per week on Ebay, I am sure I will flood the market!!
Ebay has its drawbacks, to be sure. I sold a 2ht rear rear backspring to someone in Sweden for $71, but they have yet to reply to me.( I investigated shipping it to Sweden... more than $340!)
To be honest, the whole thing is a hassle. I do not what is the market value for these "used" parts, so I rely on the Auction. Next, I must buy boxes, pack items up, drag them down to the shipper, get an estimate, drag them home again, and wait for the customer to pay, then take the parts back to the shipper. It all takes time and money.
I will eventually get down to the stainless pieces, and this is where I might put them on the SF list first. These pieces have dents and scratches, and would need work to make good. Most Ebay'ers want NOS, whereas SF Listers likely have the talent to repair these pieces.
Well, I am rambling on here...maybe you've learned something about me now. Happy hunting! (No, I STILL dont have my car back!)
