Tom, if you are looking for a pair of eyebrows, John Diekewicz may still have his for sale - let me know, and I will put you in touch with him. Good luck with the restoration!

Hi Tom, Welcome!!!

I recognize this car! Did you buy it from Ted at Tedstunaboats.com? He had two for sale for a long time this one and a Copper Bronze that was pretty nice! She is going to be a beauty when restored! Nice thing is most all of the hard to find SF only parts are there. I am super happy to hear it found a good home and you found us here on the forum.

Killer 55!! With your electronic skills are you planning any modern upgrades on the SF?

Welcome to the site!

Nice snag, Will! And because I *never* throw anything away that pertains to '59 Plymouths - here the images will stay, in perpetuity! :D

I need to remember to actually put photos on here, I always forget that the content of the links might get deleted on thier home website. I had talked to Ted the previous owner a few times last year while hunting for parts. He had two SF's in his inventory at the time, this powder blue and a bronze one. I kick my self for not buying the bronze one. Was a Complete 59 SF with a 413 in it and power swivel seats that he thought came out of a Imperial. It sold a while ago and I believe it is some where on the west coast now. No idea who bought it. Hopefully it will surface again some day.

Yes I bought it from Ted. I've located all the sheet metal to repair just about everything so now I will put it on the rotisserie and start the metal work.
I think this one unlike the 55 Belair will be mostly stock. I love the looks of these cars

I see the powder blue SF listed on Craigslist. Tom, are you planning on selling? Sad to hear that. Looks like you started to make some good progress on her.

Saw this car being sold on another website and had a question about the setup actually. I had asked before but didn't get any clarification at the time. Does anyone have any pics or helpful info on how to mount the body to a rotisserie? I am thinking about using it as i fix my rust so i can get to both sides of the car easier. Plus in theory, since i won't have the fenders on the car, it will be about 4 ft shorter and actually take up less room in the garage. Not sure what i will need height wise, but length wise it will def help. If anyone has any help, info, pics etc that would be awesome thanks.

You might try rummaging around in the Forward Look MoPar Network Facebook page. I've highlighted here the search option, where I've searched for "rotisserie" and filtered on posts by Jim Rawa. There's plenty more posts without filtering by person, but other filter options too.

I just found a really good photo album on Instagram of a 59 Sport Fury getting a full frame off resto in New Zeland, The photos show how they braced the car before taking the doors and body off the frame, today at lunch I will find them and post them up here.

Found it, If you have an Instagram account look these guys up “Sharpe_boys_hot_rods“ the 59 SF they started with was in fantastic shape albeit a over the top florescent orange paint job. They are doing a full rotisserie show car resto on this. But these pics show some of the bracing they welded in.
