No Faulkner for me. More from the "Honey Do" list... Recognize the hammer drill, Dick, and where I might have bought it? Thank God I had the good sense to tell Mary Kay to save her Amazon boxes from Christmas for debris.
Now that is a nasty "Honey Dew". Been there Done that. Room was 20x28. I rented a electric Jackhammer with a 3 inch chisel blade to get the tile and the grout up. It did a nice job. Is that a hammer drill or a jack hammer?
Dick
It's a Chicago Electric hammer drill from Harbor Freight, Dick. I still have the nook area to do, I blew through the tile and grout in a couple hours. It took longer to cover everything. The nasty part now is getting the mastic off the floor...
The reason l asked is it looks like there is a chisel in the tool which usually has a back and forth motion. Does your tool turn in a rotary motion like a drill or back and forth motion like a jack hammer?? Just curious.
Dick
It has three settings - drill, drill with hammering, or just hammer. Yes, I used a chisel bit with the last setting. Wish I had this when taking off Faulkner's molding
