I might be totally wrong on this but I think I recall reading somewhere that certain 57/58 (or both) Plymouths had a placque on the floor somewhere. Maybe who ever made up this brochure got this mixed up with the 59's. Interesting.

'Cept, 57/58's didn't have round trans pushbuttons, as I recall...
Dan - Thats definitely a picture (drawing?) of a 59. What I meant is that maybe the artist added the placque (if it is a placque) by mistake. Can anybody confirm that earlier Plymouths (57-58) had placques and where were they?
The only '57-'59 plymouths I am aware of using a plaque are the '59' Sport Furys, but on the glovebox door. i have both a '58 and '58 Fury and have never seen evidence of a plaque anywhere on those cars. Maybe this was a dealership item or was some kind of special promotion in the spring to help sell cars as they did on the '58 silver specials? ---John

Where would the plaque be located on a '58 Fury? I just recently picked this car up and didn't notice one on the dash. The car has been parked since 1969, and doesn't appear to have been monkeyed with. I also saw a '58 in a museum not long ago, and don't remember seeing one on it's dash either.---John
I don't know where they were. I still remember that we we're looking for a 59 plaque and that somebody had some repro 58 plaques and offered 1 to us. I have to look it up but it will take a while. I lost all my things on my computer. Just reinstalled everything!
