Happy Father's Day!
Happy Father's Day!
I stumbled on this pic just yesterday, of the old man with my three youngest sibs - I'm guessing from about 1970, he would be sixty here. He would say, "Son, I taught you everything I know, and you still don't know nuthin'." But he taught me plenty - the things he could do with the most modest tools were amazing.
His third heart attack took him at seventy, and that was 36 years ago. I miss him still.
Happy Father's Day, Pop. And Happy Father's Day to all of the fathers out there.

My post, Mark! A Renault Dauphine - a rear engine, push button automatic. It had a metallic powder clutch that grabbed when a current passed through it. My brother survived an accident in it when a drunk driver clipped him and peeled the side off like a sardine can. A nifty little car!
