I give up
I can only think inside the original 59 Plymouth box

Matthew, don't give up.
Thinking outside the box is good; now think outside an even larger, and "boxier" shaped box than you've seen before is what should solve this mystery.
If you've seen many photos of 1959 Plymouths in print, you have likely seen this car and upon close examination it will reveal it's uniqueness. But if only seeing just a few, then it is still in your future. I think your interest and deep knowledge of these cars makes that the likely situation.
Since the previous musical clues weren't guiding anyone to the right place, try listening to Three Dog Night. Or perhaps find the title of an album from the summer of 1965 whose lead song was used by Geico Insurance last year. Oldies clues for an oldies car!

Re: What is it?
All before my time so I have no clue at all!
Every time I look at the pics it just looks like a 4dr hardtop roof to me.
I've seen so many pics of Sport Fury's but I can't see what it is in those fuzzy pics.
All ok over there Bernie? I was kinda worried as it took you a while to read my pm.

Beats me!
Matthew, Bernie has a new email address, and I had to update his address on the Forum - perhaps that was it.
Bernie, time for another picture?

Ah, I finally get this! And the clue is indeed the title of the album, whose lead song was on that Geico list. Now, to rummage through my 3DN discography...Bernie B. wrote:... As you wish, Matthew - a picture of the car in full fidelity.
Just, not all of it

Dan - You tease you! I think you are right, it never existed, if it did, prove it.

So happy to hear my clue made sense - assuming you're choose the right ONE. Sorry, but I got that album so long ago and it fits perfectly, at least to me.
I just didn't want anyone to give up so easily, nothing like try and try again when it comes to games like this. Just a small contribution to the board I hoped.
Sorry I didn't get any PM, my email changed last year too, but Dan has it through the forum.

Oh, but where is it... One is indeed, the loneliest number.

Re: What is it?
I would have guessed the song since I am a Classic Oldies DJ .... late to this puzzle thread.
I was at our First Tuesday Classic Car cruise tonight ... I played two Roy Orbison songs today.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Eh2ykRv ... e=youtu.be
This was the song that was heard in the GEICO TV commercial involving a roaming free-range chicken.
From his 1965 album, "There is Only One Roy Orbison", the song being "Ride Away", written by Orbison and Bill Dees.

Re: What is it?
Yup! Bernie's allusion being, this particular car - There is Only One, and One is the Loneliest Number - was one of a kind. There's already enough commentary on this thread that, if you put it together - you can surmise what it is. We just need for somebody to say it! And then, the grand unveiling...WDJ40 wrote:From his 1965 album, "There is Only One Roy Orbison", the song being "Ride Away", written by Orbison and Bill Dees.

That was my guess to Bernie, before the pix arrived! Unfortunately, that's not it.
