wheel paint
Are there any over the counter wheel paints available that is a close match to factory silver? Thanks
Re: wheel paint
The silver you want is called silver argent. There are many over the counter silvers that would be close or you can order it in rattle cans from Eastwood.

I have used several over the counter paints and found that if they are too shiny, I over paint them with clear before they dry with clear and it flattens the shine. Try it,

By the way Argent is silver in Latin and French.RICKYMOPAR wrote:I have used several over the counter paints and found that if they are too shiny, I over paint them with clear before they dry with clear and it flattens the shine. Try it,

I suppose, then, on the Belgian-built '59's they called it "Silver".RICKYMOPAR wrote:By the way Argent is silver in Latin and French.
