1959 Plymouth Belvedere 2-dr Hardtop 318 in Celina Texas
This is not mine.
1959 Plymouth Belvedere with 318 motor and dual 4 barrel carbs. It's a great running and driving car with a lot of curb appeal. It's currently driven and recently passed a Texas inspection. Also has rare swivel bucket seats which work.
Sold in Arizona and later sold and restored in the 90s then ended up in Minnesota where I bought it. The car has 54,116 original miles on it. Motor was rebuilt and I have receipts on that. Car was painted in the 90s and interior was also redone.
Drivetrain :
318 Motor, Dual 4 barrel carbs, and runs/drives well
Push button Automatic that shifts and drives as it should
Interior and Body :
Interior was redone and in great shape. Has original headliner so it has some wear and tear but seats, dash pad, and carpet are nice.
Body is very straight. A ding here or there and a couple small bubbles on the pass rear 1/4 you can see in the pictures. Also a few rock chips here and there with a few chips on windshield. Paint Color is original and it's a creamy white. Very pretty color.
Front bumper has some chrome cracking around the mounting bolts.
Rear window regulators are weak and require assistance to get rear windows up ( typical Mopar issue ).
Rear window upper seals are original and cracked. If you know these cars you know what I'm talking about... very common.
Misc :
Has aftermarket radio and speakers that work well.
Brand new tires with not even 200 miles on them. They are BF Goodrich Silvertowns.
I recently replace the fuel sending unit so the gas gauge is working properly.
Car is available for viewing or inspection at any time. I'm willing to pick up the buyer at the DFW airport if they choose to drive the car home. I will work with a transport company to make sure car gets loaded. Ask for any other pictures or information and I'll be happy to help.
Overall this is a very nice driver you can jump in and cruise with right now. I also have the car for sale locally so I reserve the right to end this auction at any time.
