Nice detective work, Matthew! I recognize the 4-door Fury as having been on sale on eBay sometime back -- perhaps that's why the website doesn't work. But the other two are very solid leads. Do you want to contact them, or should I? If you contact them, be sure to ask for more pix and a bit of history about the car.
Thanks again for your help -- you're a real asset to the group! There is strength in numbers, and we're counting up...

I think it's better that you contact them.
1: My e-mail account is very slow. It takes about 4 days to recieve a mail from me
2: My english/american (i don't know how you call that) isn't that good. I always try to improve it.
My detective work is still on it's way! And before i forget it, what about the black Sport Fury that is on the pics with Faulker????
I also found a black Sport Fury here: http://carnut.com/photo/list/_ply50m.html Please don't look at the custom 59's!!! It will break your heart

Our newest (potential) member!
Thanks to Matthew Keij, who spotted this potential victi...er, member, on forwardlook.net! Matt Helm writes about his '59 Sport Fury:
I do indeed have a '59 Sport Fury--a 2-door hardtop with 44,000 original miles. This is a very special car (at least to me) because it is a 100% original survivor. It still has the original "emerald green" paint, original interior, all original mechanicals, etc. It does have a few scrapes and scratches, but that is part of the character, as far as I see it. Absolutely no rust or collision damage ever--just a beautiful car! And it does have the big engine as well! Unfortunately, the car is in Washington state, and I have just moved to Texas. I won't have any way to photograph it until it gets moved down here in a few months. The only photos that I do have are "prints" and they are in Washington as well.
An item that may be of interest is to you is that I do have one of the dealer model/color selectors for the 1959 Plymouths. This is a lighted box with sillouettes of all of the '59 models, and you can slide "color sheets" into each one of them to see how it would look in that color. It is complete and in great condition--a really cool piece of '59 Plymouth memorabilia! If I can get some photos in the near future, I will send them along. Thanks for your interest.

Thanks, Jim! Keep those cards and letters coming, and hope to hear from you soon...

I spoke to Jim Helm some years ago. I forget details now, but he was about to buy a group of four '59 Ply parts cars out of Southern Oregon, when he abruptly found a 59 Dodge convertible and followed that route. I ended up buying those parts cars.
So now Jim is headed south to Texas. Well, good luck to you, Jim!
