Tell me true, am I lacking in posting skills?
Tell me true, am I lacking in posting skills?
I read the posts, and where appropriate I comment, and do research and post advice...
I t seems to me that when I DO post something useful, more often than not the thread goes dead. How should I view this?
Am I somehow insulting people? Am I truly providing useful info that people can act on?
Is this how Internet communication goes?..if so, I grow tired of it. I am interested and want to help, but I need feedback.

Roger - Your input, as far as I'm concerned is welcome and helpful, keep it up and don't be so damn cencetive (spelling). I get ignored as much as you do. by the way, do you have a two groove fan pulley for a 318.

Too sensitive..hmmm
The Internet is more impersonal than I imagined.
I have no car parts, Dick.

I wouldn't be too concerned, I have the same thing happen to me on all the sites I am a member of.

All I can say Roger is don't give up. I've received lots of good advice since joining the Forum.

Some days I think I am too sensitive, other days I think about the loss of etiquette and simple courtesy these days...
Mom taught me to use "Please" and "Thank you"..
I guess people view the Internet as a human-less place to find free information...no need to involve humans and the burdens of interacting. One could make a comparison to drivers who don't use their turn signals...too much effort to be courteous...
That's my rant for the week.

Way to go Roger. Not many of the generation that taught us simple manners are left. Just be glad you don't have to deal with drivers from New Yawk.
Thank you.

I do get concerned about the abuse us New York drivers get on the internet. I think your advise/input is great and I always welcome it. Unlike Dick's!!!!

Steve - I can't help myself being from Mississippi and all. But there is still hope, my best friends that we go everwhere with, car shows, eat out, play cards etc. are all from New Yawk, two couples from the city and one couple from Syrexcuse. You can't begine to imagine the abuse I get.
