Hi Mark
You mentioned that I could Get a courtesy light wiring harness from the source in Canada. I am not finding the source. If you could come up with a name I will try it. Thanks John

Hi Dick
I did search prior to asking. All I found was a US supplier . A Canadian Supplier may work better for me if there is one. Thanks John

Photos of 59 Plymouth Convertible courtesy lights
John,
I just Picked up my SFury and was able to take some photos of the rear seat and the Side light fixture below.
I need to make a few adjustments to my rear seat, so I have not removed the panels yet. I have attached the same setup in a Yellow Dodge for Ref. that was at Carlisle.
Let me know what use you still need besides the Dims. of the Panel hole location , which I will post tonight. and I will post what else you need.
Did you get in touch with the Harness supplier ?
Sorry for the Dups ,I could not figure how to remove

Re: 59 Plymouth Convertible courtesy lights
Hi Mark
Thanks for the pictures. They will be good for reference as I go along. The part I was really interested in was how the bezels snap on. It looks like there are little pins inside the socket that they snap over. It will soon be clear. Yesterday I was lucky as I purchased a pair of sockets from Murry Park and I hope they are on there way. I do still need to know the location on the pocket. I tried contacting Greg Leggatt by Phone several times but no answer. I am sure we will connect one way or the other. I have just been to busy farming but I am making progress. After Oct.I will be able to spend more time on my Car. I do hope that when Your car is finished you and others like John Q will still be available to answer questions. Your help is greatly appreciated. I need to figure out how to add a picture. John

Hi Mark
YnZ is another source for wiring. They are out of California. Just Google YnZ and they will come up. I talked To Greg Leggatt of Ontario Canada this morning . He has or can make up the various wiring harnesses for my 59 Ply convertible.
Main harness-495.00 tail light including top motor wiring- 210.00 courtesy light harness 30.00 That should cover my car. John

58 Coronet:
You are correct...there are two dimples on the interior of the light socket (can be seen in above photos) which hold the lens bezel in place.

Re: 59 Plymouth Convertible courtesy lights
John,
The holes for the lights in the Rear side Panels are located as follows:
The hole is 1 1/16" in dia.
The first photo Dim is 2 7/8" from the Horz. shelf as shown
The 2nd photo Dim. is 3 3/4" when you wrap with the contour as shown.
The last photo show that the panel is Dimpled about 1/8" in to except the flange of the socket, This can be hard to do, you might just try mounting it flush or you could put a little padding under the vinyl to make up for the flange?
If you need anything else ,just ask
Mark

Re: 59 Plymouth Convertible courtesy lights
Thanks Mark. That explains a lot. I could not see not how the socket could mount on the curved surface but that dimple as you called it gives a flat surface to mount to. I think I can duplicate that. I will wait until I receive my sockets before I try. I had to make the left pocket as it was missing and that was quite a challenge. I will need some information on the well as it was also missing. I think I should start a new thread for that in the near future. You could take some pictures of the well from all angles while you have it opened up. I don't know how to include a picture but will try including one of my home made pocket. ( for practice)
