We had an un-official Golden Cruise this past Saturday evening, First official one is May. But I have another 59 Plymouth to be with! Tom And Mary Ann Amberg (also of Arvada, Colo)
Tom and Mary Ann had purchased "LInda's 59" Sport Fury last Fall after a year of discussions with her. So now I have another 59 Plymouth to go to local shows with.
Tom has joined the Forum but has not posted yet but he says he will shortly on the Show your Ride section.

Dick, That we can do! Infact we had the lawn chairs out behind me when I took the pictures. Tom and Mary Ann live about 10 mins from me. I met them when I was coaching football with our sons who are of the same age and on the same team and then later on our kids played hockey in the same Hockey association. Tom use to own a SF back in the day and longed for a Convertible version but we all know how scarce the drop tops are.
I informed Tom about Linda's car for sale a year ago after seeing he intentions in the Forum and he called and the rest is history.

Of course it is not that special to have two 59's together at a car show, we see that all the time in the Netherlands
Two weeks ago our convertible was on National TV btw and had a picture in a National newspaper! Too busy right now to upload but I will post the links this weekend in another topic.
I did, I did! Right after this event I had to get new tires and put on the Port-a-Walls I had so any future pictures of my car will look good and period looking.
