Money or a secret Santa

Post by rogerh »

colorado 2012 '60 ny wagon.jpg
Just read about a salvage yard in southern Colorado..(I think the post is relatively new) wherein resides a 59 Belv 2ht and a '60 New Yorker wagon! Come to think of it, I think I saw this post last fall and the wagon was snatched up in an instant!

And here is the wagon I also wanted to check out with the Belvedere HT. And it was last fall but the snow started to fall in the area and wanted to wait to Spring time and the snows departure from the area...

Fairly certain I saw this wagon come on Craigslist, then the ad was picked up by someone (maybe on FL?) and shared worldwide. When I looked into the posts more, it had already sold to Scandinavians.
John, if you know about any more of this era of cars, I suggest you hire me to go get them. We can make some big $!
(For instance, what ever happened to the Fairplay car collection (where Ragtop found the cvt, now stored away again in Wyoming)?

Roger, I forgot about the FairPlay collection, I need to Google Earth the area and see who owns that property all these cars are on. I did not know that wagon was sold already. Shoot!

Before you make the 4-hr drive to Capulin, I would strongly advise you give them a call..
As for being in/near Fairplay, Ragtop also mentioned Conifer. I could find no car stash at either location, but I might try again.
Over on FL, there's one guy who knows the whereabouts of a '60 Chr wagon...even posted a photo fo it, but he is keeping his cards close to the chest.
The pres of the local chapter of WPC was tipped as to the location of a barn-stored '60 wagon...low miles, he uses it as daily driver! Google Jon Carson of Fenders and Fins, Woodinville, WA
