body designations

Good Morning All, Since i'm new to mopar rides i wanted to know what body designation my 1959 Plymouth savoy is i.e A body B body?? I am trying to locate the seal for the gas tank where the fill pipe enters into the tank.

Welcome to the '59 Plymouth site, Mark!

The body designations really did not come into play until after '59 when multiple platforms were used. In '59, for instance, there was only the full size car available.

Your best bet is to contact Gary Goers for the O-ring, although he is recuperating from a broken ankle, and orders may have backed up. Another possibility is to try Andy Bernbaum parts in Mass.

You can try eBay for the o ring.
They are reproduced as I got one with a complete fuel sender but I have seen just the ring on eBay.
