Don, Neat story about your trip in your 59 Belvy. Must have been a lot of fun to do and some good memories to last a long time. Sounds like minimal amount of breakage during the trip.
The rear axle seal repair is not as easy as it seems but to a commercial shop it probably was easy to do the repair.
