Savoy, 4dr post. E-bay

Post by Matthew Keij »

Looks like a nice project!
The seller says it's all original but it really isn't.
It's been repainted for sure.
Check it out:

Edit: I'm looking good at those pics. I see in an interior pic that is has the "park brake warning light" Must be a rare factory option?

This is the "Parking brake warning light" Bob.
I never saw it on another 59 Plymouth
Roger, it also has the padded dash option

I always do my best! It has also 2 outside mirrors. Don't know if they are factory or not. Don't know if that model mirrors was on the 59 P.

Also check this out:
The seller says the tires are good and they hold air. So why is the right front tire empty then? It shouldn't be for fun :P

It's also missing some things. The Plymouth script on the hood and the trunk and both Savoy scripts on the fins

The ad also says this.....
IT HAS BEEN SITTING FOR MANY YEARS. IT HAS NEW PLUGS, WIRES POINTS, ETC. IT STARTS UP EASY EVERY TIME. THE PUSH BUTTON AUTOMATIC WORKS WELL, SHIFTS EASY WITH NO SLIPPING. IT DOES NOT SMOKE, NO NOISES, ETC. BRAKES HAVE BEEN FIXED. CALIPERS REBUILT, ETC. BRAKES WORK WELL AS DOES EMERGENCY BRAKE. LITTLE RUST FOR AGE AND YEARS OF UNUSE, BUT SOME IS THERE. RUST TO FLOORBOARDS, SMALL RUST HOLE IN BOTTOM LEFT REAR DOOR, TRUNK SHOWS RUST. NO DENTS, BODY IS STRAIGHT. TIRES HOLD AIR AND CAN BE DRIVEN ON.

Calipers rebuilt??
Somehow i doubt its got disc brake calipers!
