How to remove Alum Badge from Rear Fender Chrome Disc?

Getting ready to send my Chrome to the plater and I was wondering the best way to remove the Gold Alum Plymouth Badge from the Chrome Pot Metal Disc that goes on each rear fender.

I was about to drill out the to Rivet Heads on the back and I thought I would ask before I destroy something.

Anybody have any suggestions on the best way to remove for reuse?

Drill or grind off the heads, it's the only way.
