Achieving Inner Peace

Post by Faulkner »

I am passing this on to you because it definitely works, and we could all use a little more calmness in our lives. By following simple advice heard on the Dr. Phil show, you too can find inner peace. Dr Phil proclaimed, "The way to achieve inner peace is to finish all the things you have started and have never finished."

So, I looked around my house to see all the things I started and hadn't finished, and before leaving the house this morning, I finished off a bottle of Merlot, a bottle of Bailey's Irish Cream, a package of Oreos, the remainder of my old Prozac prescription, the rest of the cheesecake, some Doritos, a box of chocolates, and the last bit of the tequila.

You have no idea how freaking good I feel right now.
Pass this on to those whom you think might be in need of inner peace.

Well Played Dan!

Now we have to talk you down a bit....Get of the roof of the house! We need to dry you out a bit!

I can't believe this happened before New Years! I thought we had a couple days to hide everything!

Philadelphia is enduring a blizzard right now, and I am concerned that Dan has used up all of his supplies!

Roger, we must activate the emergency 59 Forum relief booze cache and arrange an air drop to our Commander-in-Chief (Dan)...Maybe drop in a snow blower and shovel too!

I had the good sense to give my snowblower to my brother a couple of weeks ago. Now, my driveway looks like Antarctica. Fortunately, I left the car towards the street - gotta shovel my way out, if Em's going to get to the airport this afternoon...

Man, I know what you guys are going thru, I went to the beach this morning but couldn's stay long, the water was so cold I damn near froze. The temp. on my back porch was 37 degrees this morning. I even had to put a jacket on! supposed to get to 53 degrees later today. I think I'll take the convertible out for a spin later today and check out those new used Exhaust manifolds. I'm not too worried about snow because the trash and garbage service provides free snow removal. heh, heh, heh.

Happy New Year,

Schadenfreude!

Here's a couple of pix to warm you up, Dick - you can see behind the car where I moved the snow drift so I can get the car out...

So far, Air Canada flight 345 is still scheduled to fly, on time. We'll see!

Is that flight to Florida. I probably shouldn't ask but what does "shadenfreude" mean. Oh, where are the snow angels and snowman.
