Tire size

Post by ginog01 »

Hi All,
I just returned from a short 15 mile run to get rid of the gas from earlier in the fall. I am in need of new tires. Currnetly the whitewall tires are about 8 to 10 yrs old and really thumpy. This I noticed this summer and even after a long 40 m-50 mile run they still are thumpy. My assumption is they have permanent flat spots??? G78-14 -4 ply are the current tires, what size can I use to rplace with a radial or something better than the 4 -ply. I appareciate your suggestions, Thanks!!!
