Seat Cover Removal
Hello All
Does anyone know how to remove the seat covers for a 1959 Fury? We're hoping to replace the foam (ourselves???!??) but youtube has been a bust (unless I'm not putting in the magic search words to come up with a match).
Thanks!!

I'd really appreciate it....

Camshaft issue
I recently changed out pushrods and lifters. The engine hasn't been right since. My mechanic told me that you can't switch out lifters with out replacing the cam, and there is a series of procedures that need to be done to acclimate the cam to the lifters such as running the engine at so many rpms f...

Re: recurring engine knock
I'm logged in as my better half. I finally had time to pull the valve-covers off and discovered as I suspected that the bent push rod is even more bent and valve lash is way out. As soon as the new pushrods get in I'll be switching them out and readjusting the lash. My question is. Would it be a bad...

Re: recurring engine knock
Thanks for the info Rickymopar, do you happen to know if they're interchangeable with more modern 318 engines? As for how they got bent in the first place, search us *shrug* :?: ... we bought the car about a year ago and we took the top half of the engine apart over the winter to clean out the rust ...

Re: Rust in the engine
Hiya Everyone :D Ok ... so Andy took the cover thing off of the engine and had me take pictures ... this is what we mean by 'rust in the engine'. Please notice the buildup in the hexagon shaped things (not the gear head ... just the Fury wife lol) and the gunk (for want of a better word) that is on ...

It did get a lot of love at the festival. We were thinking it might be a fun festival for us forum people to meet at next year, if anyone is interested.
Here's the link http://www.route66fest.com/ Next year's dates are 25-27 September.

two unrelated questions
Hi Everyone
We have two questions stemming from the Carlisle video ...
1. Where does one acquire the really cool t-shirts advertising this site?
2. What precautions should one take when parking the car in hotel parking lot?
thanks everyone loved the video!

Once again Google has failed me and I'm wondering if anyone here has their info. Yes, I did shoot the previous owner an emai...
