Hey, pretty cool...I love the 59s.....but the 60 adventurers are quite a bit more rare...so jumped on a chance to buy a nice almost rust free one...I have a post going on Forward Look about it....almost ready to fire up. Not too sure when I will be getting the back seat for the 59....but did take it...

Well, finally got my front seat back from my upholstery guy. And took out my SF for it's first real text ride.....had a couple hiccups.... First one....driving through the country, came up to a yellow light kinda quickly...brakes pulled hard left...I mean really hard...wasn't expecting that...to ass...

My transmission shop which has been building these old transmissions for a loooong time told me type F...I used it in my 59 sport fury with great success...so gonna use it now in mt 60 Desoto Adventurer 2 dr ht.

Decided NOT to persue making these anymore...not enough interest...I do have a complete set of seat buckles done and ready for someone if they are interested...here is an example of mine on the seats that just got finished for my '59

I got an extra toilet seat for sale, bought it in case I do another '59 Sport Fury., but that is looking unlikely since I picked up a '60 Desoto 2 dr Adventurer HT. to restore, it's complete., needs restored if anyone is looking for one, has all the mounting studs, center medallion etc....asking $37...
