With Charles's approval, I have put the original 4bbl back on the engine and also solved the overheating problem. dont know what it was caused by but i recored the radiator and new thermostat. Cant believe it was caused by the two quad's but you never know.Also toying with the idea of returning the ...

hate to be a whiny baby but the number doesnt come up on snapon website. Tried every combination of 8,4,1, nothing. Looks likeB8487A but that doesnt come up either, Even got out magnifying glass. Any chance it has been discontinued??

well, i tried it and i can see where it would work but it just bent the key. it is stuck in there with some old grey rubber mastic. may try to cut it with a utility knife tomorrow or maybe heat it up. you would think after 60 years it would just flake off but noooo>

that is what i was afraid of. Was using a wide pry bar but was dinging it and it is deforming. You cant get the windshield surround off unless the drip rail comes off. Many thanks, Pat.

i had him do a wheel for a '60 polara last year. Took a year and cost $1800. Beautiful job. He had a kid working for him parttime doing most of the work, i think Just wish i had the know-how to collect so much for so little.

matthew is right. dodge and Plymouth are different. I have a 58 dodge and a 59 Plymouth that I can get you measurements on if you need
