I have got a hold of a 59 4 door with very good body but the engine is shot- 230 6 Cly. I am thinking about installing a 318,360,383 or 400 in her -depending on some answers her and what I can find in an engine. What engines-v/8 did the old lady come with? What would I need to do about motor mounts-...

I am now getting the engine trans out- anyone know how to disconnect the shielded cable from the transmission?It comes from the push buttons to the transmission? I am stuck need some help please!!
