Re: Tapered Axle Rear Brake Conversion
Matthew,
We are in the process of using the 2259r drums and they are a pretty loose fit, did you encounter the same issue?

Hi Mstthew.
Center (Axle hole) bore on the Raybestos 2955R worked fine? I can't seem to find that information anywhere I loom.

Marvel Mystery oil
Hello everyone.
I have never used Marcel Mystery oil before.
I have seen it mentioned alot, throughout the years.
Is this product snake oil or is it magical?
Any thoughts on why it might or might not be good?
Thanks all!

Re: replacement '59 headlight switch
After I installed LED's in the dash, I took out the knob and shaft and cleaned it up with some super fine Emery cloth.
After that it rotated beautifully even though with LED's they won't dim unless there's more done to the circuit.

Re: Generator to alternator change
Well we stick with the heavy duty voltage regulator and three wire (batt and 2 field) alternator. I also purchased a new silver 4 post solenoid from Princess Auto. Next will be to fix up all the wiring from that positive post on the solenoid I will be doing a fused junction box for all the 12v lines...

Re: Instrument Lights
I too being a young 48 years old had trouble changing all three especially that high up center one with the tiny bit of wire. I lay on my back with my head squeezed in behind the gas pedal to get access up behind the console. NOT an easy way to do anything behind the cluster. I changed out the bulbs...

Hello folks. The setup this car came with had an alternator with a built in regulator and also another two wire style regulator. Do we need the external regulator? Our alternator died and now I'm wondering why we couldnt just use the alternators internal regulator. Am I missing something that had to...
