Brian Meharg

"Hi, my name is Brian Meharg. I live in Ingersoll,
Ontario, Canada. About a month ago I came across an ad for a '59 Plymouth
Savoy 2dr. post for $900 CDN or best offer. Being a second generation Moparaholic,
I promptly picked up the phone. My wife and I made the 1/2 hour trip to go
look at the old girl- as soon as I saw her, I knew she would be mine. A week
later, myself, the car trailer, and my Dad (owner of a 67 Coronet R/T and
2 '64 Polaras) went to look at it again. I waved 750 bucks in the guys face
and loaded up my first old mopar. The car came from Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada
where they don't use road salt- so the body just has surface rust from a half
started body job but NO holes ANYWHERE! All the parts are there including
NOS carpets and headliner and tonnes of extra crome and goodies. I sold the
old flathead and 3 speed stick and some other unrequired extras. I plan on
doing a sort of Resto/Mod on it with a 383 mated to a TorqueFlight and an
8 3/4 Suregrip. Sometimes I go outside just to look at it and picture in my
mind's eye the finished product- I like what I see! It will be well worth
the time and money in the end! Any ideas and input would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!"
