Dan's car is going to need some attention, mechanically, but Faulkner took care of us all the way, only needing a little rest and cool-down at a toll booth on the way home (tranny slipping in low gear). Then there was an ominous noise coming from the rear end/driveshaft area just as we got to the storage garage...

Related, I think, to the transmission problem. Related, I hope! I think the tranny was stuttering, causing the driveshaft to rapidly torque/relax. Time will tell -- first things first, off to the transmission doctor.

Didn't we have a great time, tho!
