New Zealand '61 Fury
New Zealand '61 Fury
Hi all,
I have grown up with Morris Minors, having restored a few and having just one in the fleet now, thought it was time to get a cruiser for the family.
This 1961 Fury 4 door took my eye & in 4 weeks I have clocked up a couple of thousand miles.
I have previously built and circuit raced a 1964 Chrysler Valiant AP5 (Australian built) with a 225 sloper.
We live on the West Coast of New Zealand's North Island in a city New Plymouth, so when we recently (3 weeks ago) moved back here I decided to surprise the wife with a NEW Plymouth
Pleased to meet you all and look forward to chatting.
Stu

Sweet Plymouth, Stu. Thanks for sharing.
Further north of you in Ellerslie - on the outskirts of Auckland - a fellow by the name of Peter Davidson once had a '59 Sport Fury. I haven't heard much from him recently - I wonder if he still has it...
