My New Lifetime Project..59 Sport Fury
I do not know what it is about this car.. I am in love with it. I cannot stop myself from going out to it everyday and just looking at it. I promised the wife I would not spend any money on it until after our vacation in October.
She is a bit rusty and crusty and my original plans was to leave it this way on the outside.. Just sand and flat clear it. I have a good bit to fix though on the inside. I am going to pull the 318 poly and replace it with a 512 with a/c. I will add a power brake setup and upgrade the brakes to disk up front. I am going to pull the rear-end out and put a ford explorer rear-end in it. This way it will be a posi with 3:73 gears and disk brakes...
A buddy has a big block pushbutton transmission so I plan on keeping that setup.. It is a later one with the park so I will have to add something for the park lever but that should be easy to hide. I do need some help finding some things though.. Like the arrow on the passenger side front trim... The drivers side front trim lower pc of trim is missing from under the brushed center. The drivers side read pc that wraps around the back corner from the trim. I also need the heater pushbutton setup. If anyone has a complete set of locks and ignition switch with keys I would like to get that also.
Here she is... As of now.

So have you had any progress yet? Looks ambitious, but well worth it.
