New guy here who pics up my 1959 Sport Fury this coming Saturday.. This will be my forever car so I plan on doing some cool/crazy things with it.
I know this is not the area for this but wanted to know how hard is it to find the factory seats in any condition for this car?

Hi Steve - Welcome aboard. This is a great site with great people willing to answer all you questions if possible. If you are talking about swivel seats it's not easy but it is possible, just takes a lot of searching, maybe a member has a set????? Most questions you may have, have already been hashed over a gazillion times, look up and to your right and you will see a search box. Type in your subject i.e. Seats and see what pops up. Are your seats missing or need repair???
Please send the information on your data tags, so Matthew can enter your car in the register and send you information on your car. Also send lots of pictures so we can see it, where you found it, some history and most importantly why it will be a forever car for you.
Dick.

Welcome to the site.
Post up some photos of your 1959 Plymouth Sport Fury and any information on the car.
You said that you plan on doing some cool/crazy things with it.
Are you planning to keep the car stock or customize it?
I have been on this site for a year and find it helpful with information.
As for finding factory seats for a 1959 Plymouth Sport Fury ...I have always said that you can eventually find anything ... even rare parts ... all it takes is time and money.

The car is a true barn forgotten car.LOL.. It is very rough. SO the plan is scuff the outside and flat clear it.. Put some Charcoal Gray Cragers on it in a 17" size, lower it and drive it around and enjoy it... I love that body style. Here is one Picture of it...

Steve,
The car looks to be pretty much all there on the exterior, except for a few missing parts.
Does it have a motor, transnission and interior?
Doesn't seem to have too much body rust. Was it a southern or northern car?

A Southern car... Needs a floor pan on both sides and a trunk pan.. Motor and trans is in it.. 361 auto... No seats at all.. Some have told me to just put anything in it and I know that will be the easiest way and probably the cheapest but I want all the trim on it and the factory seats and door panels in it. I want the outside old and the inside new.....

So it got sold! Car has been for sale for a while.
Swivel seats are out there but they are expensive! I'll keep my eyes open for you.
Let me know the VIN and if possible a pic of the data plate.

Steve - Reproduction floor and trunk panels can be had on ebay. All soft parts can be had from www.garygoers.com.

Here is the vin.. Where would a data plate be? Also here is the dash plaque from when it was bought.. Seems someone tried to cover the name up.. I will get some finger nail polish remover to it so I can see the name.
Also one of the motor.. guy was wrong.. not a big block.
