SF Systems Checkout Test Ride a Success

With the Dash , wiring and all systems completed , I rolled my S Fury out for a test ride which was big success ,no major issues.
I forgot how much fun they are to drive and the kick you get in passing gear.
Now to finish the interior and Top over the winter.
Could not have been here with out the help from all on the Forum

The copper color fits very well with the autumn leaves seen in the backround.
I remember what you mean by that boost of power when it kicks down!
Keep protected from Hurricane Sandy, and keep up the fine work.

Looks great Mark, Glad you were able to take the spin in it before Hurricane Sandy hits with its rain bands.

The engine compartment looks great! We will pass the hat around the forum to raise funds for the passenger seats and interior seats and panels!

Glad you carry that fire extinguisher with you after my mishap...

We are in the middle of the Storm ,Good day to work in the Garage ,we have power so far.

The Hood and all the interior panels are the Green/Gray primer, must be the reflection.

We should use the Collection $$ to fix the SMS lead-times and Mgt.

Does anybody know the correct Length of the wiper blades?

I can also you a pair of Washer Nozzles , if anybody has a spare to sell

SMS is doing the side panels but not the arm rests or covers, My local Uph has completed them with SMS material.

Lead time is an issue with SMS but what can you do. My upholster did the rear arm rest too with the material from SMS, they put the padding on the side area and the arm rest of rear pocket panels. The door panels did come back super nice but wished it was quicker. I did have my local upholster make up some door panels too, that turned out well also. So I have a back up set for my convert.

On the front door arm rests, I had extra white bolster material from my seats and had another local upholster, who did my sun visors (out of the same material too!) do my arm rests, I painted the plastic bases and he did the stretching of the material over the old padding material. He did build up some of the low areas on the front armrests where over time it was squished down. But it turned out well...

It's been a long time since wheel rim color was discussed here.
An informal poll said most folks have seen grey rims, while some swore by black rims... there may even have been a vote or two for rims being painted body color.
I hesitate to even mention such a detail- (has anyone read some of the battle going on over at ForwardLook...several members attacking one member who always points out things he believes are flaws and questionable areas on cars listed on other sites).

John - What I want to know is how you found out about the Federal Reserve, I guess I've got to give Ben a talking too.
Bernie - I measured the wiper blades on my cars: One is 15", One is 16" and the Desoto is 16". I have no problem with the 15".

The Tires are Coker Classics P215/75R14 , I bought the Rims and tires as a package good to just be mounted from Coker

My rims are Black because that is how the came.
What is the consensus on the correct color?

I like the feedback on what needs to be correct ,as long as it is positive, it helps.

The Storm has come and gone ,No issues Inland. The coastline is ruined.

I don't have my 59 Plymouth Supplement here, but in the back pages I think the wiper size is listed.
The Keijs and John Quinn are the ones most likely to locate the thread about rim color.
I think the consensus was gray, but I defer to others.

We're all glad you were not adversely affected by Superstorm Sandy!

Mark - The rims are the same color as the Valance and Splashpan. SILVER ARGENT.
