LOTS of chrome! (and a de-activated heater loop)
Nice looking engine compartment!

Did you see the windshield decal?
and the "Classy" plaque under the hood.
The fender mirrors (not twin-strut) appear to be located closer to the door on this car.

These are not the "hooded" type, like the ones I have on my car.
Looking in the Options booklet that Matthew and Ron gave me,
Order # 406 included dual outside rear-view mirrors (remotely-controlled drivers side). These must be the hooded ones I have.
If you didnt choose this option, you could order Group 406, which included matching, non-remote fender mirrors.* These would be the non-hooded "twin-strut" style that eagle-eye Dan sees on this car.
*Dealer-installed only, says the booklet.

Your right the heater is disconnected. The heater had been removed when we got it and we just never got around to finding a new one. Its amazing what you guys can figure out just by looking at some pictures. The mirrors are double strut. As for their position, all I know it that they were removed when the car was painted, but I believe they were put back in the same location. They do not adjust from inside which is a pain because I can't reach them from the drivers seat.

I certainly hope you don't take our observations as criticism! We just enjoy seeing all versions of our favorite car. Someone wrote in earlier asking about mirror location and I told him where my car's mirrors were located. I was sort of trying to combine his question with your photos.
If you need a heater core, or any part, I highly recommend John Fowlie at Big M Auto bigmauto@colusanet.com.
(I am currently unemployed and thus spend way too much time on the computer!)

I don't take any of the comments as criticism. I think its great that you guys are so observent. Its amazing that any of these cars are even around any more. Wednesday I went on the Mt. Hood Railroad from Mt. Hood to Parkdale, Oregon. On the way back I saw a 59 Chevy parked in a field behind some farmers barn. Someone needs to get their hands on that one. Thanks for the tip on where to look for parts.
