The headliner is in! Um, sort of...

The panels are in. First, I put up the ABS center panel, using 6 clips made from the spare Caravan strip. Then, I added the side panels, popping off the clips and reattaching them as I went front to back. Here's the result:

Hey, who's the dweeb who said he didn't get the need for the clips for the side panels? I say, let's boot him from the Forum. All in favor...

Now, to pop on the painted Caravan strips, put the chrome back in place, and trim the strips to accomodate the chrome terminations. But enough for tonight. I have to work during the day, doncha know!

The two Amigos have returned! And the long saga of the headliner finally comes to a close: All the chrome is back in place, and the center strips are up. Amazingly, the Caravan strips are the exact length of the curved distance between the chrome at the front window and the chrome at the rear. There's really no need to cut them to fit the chrome tips that are not quite as wide -- it looks much better, without them.

I'm indebted to Ed Ober for these roof panels -- it made all the difference. And thanks to the two Amigos for their help!
