John, Goodluck on moving the Fury, For the price and the shape it is in, you should get a buyer soon. As soon as you finish the transaction for the Convert, give us the scoop on it! Lots of pictures are helpful for me as I put all the pieces back together again on my convert.

Is a SF or Belvy Convert?

Thanks, John!

The convertible is a '59 DeSoto that was being restored about 30 years ago, and then left in a barn, taken apart and in bare metal. Good thing is, there was no more than surface rust to it.

I will be able to complete the '59 SF convertible by being able to see what certain specifics on this body are.

Even better! a De Soto Convert! Great find!

In the last month I have two friends find two Mopars in long term storage. A 57 De Soto in a garage for the last 30 years and a 53 Dodge Coronet Convertible for 44 years.

The sad kicker is both cars are with 15 mins of me and I had no clue they existed! Probably for the best, funds are tight with local economy here in Denver down around 30% from last year. But showing some strenghtening lately. Still looks like 2nd quarter of 2010 to be out of this duldrums

Can't wait to see some pictures when you are ready. Great score!

Looks like I have a sale pending on this car, to a good friend, no less.

He just happened to sell his '57 Mercury Colony Park wagon today, and called to tell me he wants the Fury.

I'll make sure that he signs up on this site!
