Pre-Carlisle visit to Ed Ober

Post by Faulkner »

What would a trip to Carlisle be, without also visiting with our good friend and benefactor, Ed Ober. Here are some pix and flix from yesterday's visit after the Silver Diner outing.

On our way, driving past Garden State Park
taking the scenic route
This is Faulkner's big chance for a photo op with Black Beauty!

Matthew has (better) pictures too... But it's hard to take a bad picture of Ed's car

Great pics Dan, Matthew, Ron & Ed.
Dan, is that a new dash pad? Mine's ok yet but showing a little bit of age. One or two cracks.
That "object" on your antennae reminds me of the days I used to cruise in my '59 up in the State of Maine. I had 2 orange balls on my rear antennae's in the winter so they would be visible above the snow banks.
Again nice pics, nothing better than a '59 in motion.

Yup! New last year from Just Dashes -- Matthew put it in (of course). I had the foresight to send them the metal mounting strip, they molded it right into the pad for me.

Great Pictures! Back home in Colorado today. My wife, Pam,had E-mailed my Passport copy to me which helped me to clear the TSA Screening process. Plus a several questions that only me and the Government would know. Amazing what they know about you. Bought a new wallet today to replace the one stolen/lost in Detroit last weeked.

One day at work on Tuesday and then the Red Eye flight Tuesday night./ Weds AM into Philly land. Arriving at 6:00 AM (might need a nap sometime on Wednesday) via US Airways. And then the fun begins!

Looks like I already missed the Ed Ober trip but still lots to come I am sure. Still looking for my Speedo's....
