NOS grille

Post by Faulkner »

The anodizer ruined my two grille pieces, a base trim piece (I have a NOS one for the other side), and a headlight bezel. Grrrr! I did get my money back. I sent pix to another anodizer; he said they can't be saved.

I picked up a NOS base trim piece for the other side. I'm looking for a pair of NOS grilles - I prefer serrated, but a pair of plain will do. I expect a decent headlight bezel will turn up along the way.

Yeah, I've seen the ones on eBay, but I'm thinking I can do better. For what it's worth, these are the P/Ns:

Right, plain: 1902602
Left, plain: 1902603
Right, serrated: 1903630
Left, serrated: 1903631

Actually, it was a reanodized grille. The driver's side came out very nice - the passenger side, not so nice. Ed sold them to me for what he paid for them, maybe 20 years ago! I'm thinking I'll try my luck on that piece with a mid-western reanodizer that came highly recommended to me (and that is reanodizing one of my headlight rings).

Hi, do you mean the lower base piece for the grilles? I have NOS for both sides - but, thanks.

No, he's referring to the trim piece that fits below the grille itself:
