Restored or nearly restored Sport Fury
Hello guys, I had/have a 1959 Sport Fury that was in a body shop fire. I am not sure of the extent of damage as the shop was on lock down for insurance reasons, but I suspect a total loss. So I may be in the market for a restored or close to restored Sport Fury. If you have one for sale or could post links that would help me weigh my options. Thanks, Mark

Mark,
I saw your post on Facebook. What a d*mn shame. I hope you recover your loss, financially, and do so soon. I've seen them from time to time on eBay, although I don't think there are any up for sale at the moment. We will keep our eyes peeled.
Dan

Oh no! Let's find one for you.
Any options you want? Colors?
What's your budget?

Re: Restored or nearly restored Sport Fury
Yeah, my insurance inspector came by today and it looks like it will be totaled. I have seen a couple of 59SF for the $17-25k asking price, already painted & SMS interior. I could do the lower end, but only if it's a good deal.
As far as preferences, Mint Green, the darker green (can't think of the name) and Red are my favorites. Obviously I want original or as close as possible to it. No body work headaches, please. lol
I would like a 361, but the 318 is fine as well, since I would may take the 58 manifold & dual fours off mine to swap. (So, it won't quite be stock).
Thanks for any help.

Wow, they are absolutely beautiful cars. I always wanted that green color. I wished I had taken out more insurance on mine. Lol
