Hi steptoe, Welcome to the cleb. I'm from Adelaide and I reckon I know of your gold 59! Used to beoong to a friend of mine Nick and was regularly used for weddings. I have an Aussie 59 , American 57 and 59 Plymouth also. Good to have you aboard. Once you learn how to use the computer and load stuff ...

Re: 2012 revisited PHOTOS!!!!!!!!!!
Ive got Bumper wings on my 4 dr HT BELVY.........and I have the front bar with the rubber insert like
a Sport Fury on my BELVY coupe which also has rubberized overriders on the rear bar.
Not sure which look I like the best on the 59. Rubber or Wings?

Re: 2012 revisited PHOTOS!!!!!!!!!!
Ok, here are some pictures taken today at a park in my subdivision. I was tempted to drive further into the park for a better back drop of the foothills but neighbors and our covenants would be mad at me (again!) Ron, Margo & Matthew have been to this park when visiting me. Temps were in the up...

Re: 59 "Chevmouth"
Grille looks like 60 Caddy. The fenders look like they are based after a 59 Plymouth but the Plymouth fenders will not line up against the Chevy doors like that.....unless they are heavily modified of course.

Re: Dick's convertible project
Wow that's so beautiful Mark! On the other side of the coin when it gets real hot here we have kolas and kangaroos coming into yard to look for water or take refuge in cooler areas. We live next to a reserve and we had some of the worst heatwaves two years ago. My neighbour has a pool and a koala ca...
