Re: My '59 Sport Fury
There is definitely enough left of that valance to work with. Much better shape then some of them out there. Being that low they tend to always be dented / Smashed. Wonder what the story is on it being red? From a donor car maybe? I believe they were all argent silver from factory... either way with...

Re: Dual antennas
Thats what I thought, I have a set just like these but I need one of the black plastic wedges that compensates for angle of the antenna base. One of mine is broken in half. I have a friend who does 3D printing and he said he would be able to use my good one to create a new set. I might try that if I...

Re: Faulkner gets a Redo
I have used Harbor freight rachet straps hung from a cross beam in my shop to make a harness around the hood on my 69 charger then unbolted and rolled the car back and lowered it down. Works great if your all by yourself, just be careful the hood dose not swing back and hit the windshield when it co...

You can't go wrong with the white two tone. It also helps to give the illusion of lowness to the car and black and copper accent interior sounds killer Dan!

Re: Aurora radio conversion
Dan, I have a few friends with radios that have the Aurora retrofit. Works great and sounds amazing. Once set up, It's awesome to be able to just jump in and tap the Pandora app and have your music kick in. I will be doing the same with my radio. Have fiddled with aux cords, bulky multidisk cd playe...

Re: Newbie to forum
I can not believe I am just now seeing this! This was the exact same car I nearly bought in Las Vegas!!!!!!!! I looked at it and loved it but tried talking the owner down some because I new it was going to take some work and walked away. Spent the rest of the day debating it and that evening decided...

Re: Bernie Brouillet
Bernie, Again really enjoyed hearing of your racing days and it is nice to know the car is safe and sound waiting its turn for a day in the sun. I love the home made fender well headers!! and getting a big C body like this to run a 14.5 is impressive!! So, she was originally white, then painted Ford...
