Re: Bronze SF in Montana
Mark, good detective work on the original owners info! interesting, The best part of these cars are the stories that come with them and I bet this car has some stories to tell. Agreed on the cool factor on this car, not often you see a SF with the manual trans. I bet this thing is a blast to drive. ...

Re: Bronze SF in Montana
I have a nearly NOS mix match set of a Yosemite Sam and a naked lady silhouette mud flaps I am planning on putting on my Sport Fury  I detect a little flack you have possibly caught over the idea of body color rims? I think I can hear Dick yelling ARGENT already!!! With the full wheel covers th...

Re: Colorado Belvedere Convertible progressing
John, She is a beauty!! and love the contrast in colors with the wheels. I really like how you have different hubcaps to change for different events, kinda like dressing for the occasion!

Re: Bronze SF in Montana
More pictures, not sure about the wheels. Look like black rims maybe? That bronze is a gooooood looking color, gotta love that two tone. What color were rims originally from factory? Body color or Argent? Was there a difference between cars getting full wheel covers and cars getting the dog dish caps?

Re: Peter Gunn
My all time favorite show, fallowed by the late 60's Dragnet with Jack Webb. Peter Gunn is the reason I fell in love with 59 Plymouths 8) ! The style, the music (Peter Gunn sound track is also my favorite album set on vinyl by Hennery Mancini), the Mid Century Modern sets, story lines, a really grea...

Re: D & M Restorations
Dan, I was looking through D & M's website and see where they restore a number of things including small electric motors, I wonder if they cut a discount if you send them multiple items (gauges, clock, wiper & window motors)? They are a little far (South Carolina) from my car on the west coa...

Re: Welcome Tom Frassi
I need to remember to actually put photos on here, I always forget that the content of the links might get deleted on thier home website. I had talked to Ted the previous owner a few times last year while hunting for parts. He had two SF's in his inventory at the time, this powder blue and a bronze ...

Re: Faulkner gets a Redo
Dan, That is MADNESS!!!! 20-25K FOR A PAINT JOB! boy I am in the wrong business or maybe they are if they think it cost that much! I can see a couple thousand for a good paint job (with some decent block sanding work between coats) but for 25K that better be Pebble Beach quality! Gotta love YouTube!...

Re: D & M Restorations
I have a very faded clock I got off eBay and another one coming in the mail soon as well as a pretty decent cluster. I am considering sending out for resto since that is some thing I can do from here. Their price was not bad, I wonder how it compares to just Dashes. I was considering sending my stuf...

Re: Wagon needing saved
I found another photo of this wagon online. Looks prety decent. I sent a message to the seller asking for more info, photos and if it has a title or paper work. I will post more here if I find out any more info.
