Proportioning valves are generally used in disc front, drum rear systems to avoid having the front brakes lock up before the rears. Probably not necessary in your case.

Master cylinder could be defective, only creating pressure at the one port. Very common problem.

I'll second that. We have a local shop here that has done ten or so re-cores for me and my customers, never a problem, and solves many troublesome overheating issues. No cheap, last one I had done was close to $500. With the top tank off, it's simple to remove the dent, as brass is a more malleable ...

I rebuild heater valves for the price of $100 if anyone needs that service. The only direct interchange to fit power steering is '57-'59 Chrysler products, although Imperial may use a different column. The early '58 to '59 units are preferable to the '57 units. '57 are aluminum, '58-9 are cast iron....

Flooding in the vicinity here. A berm has been built across the highway to hopefully keep floodwaters out of town.

All Mopars in this era use a crank bolt that has a 1 1/4" hex.
