Re: 1959 Plymouth Fury 2 Door
John,
It looks like they put traction bars on the rear springs. If it were my car, I would take these off.
It may look aggressive with its stance, but my guess is the front end must take a beating with the suspension parts and front brakes.

This car is not mine. It looked pretty decent to me. The seller says there is rust in the floor boards and that the car is not running at this time. Re: Dick's convertible project
" two holes appeared in the top on each side at the second bow from the rear. Sergio went ballistic and immediately said I'm ordering a new top." Interesting issue with the convertible top. I wonder if the material was under tension at the pressure points on each side of the bow? I recentl...

Re: New tires on my new toy
Yes. Mechanical issues are priority.
I use to rebuild and restore Pontiacs but I no longer restore cars ... I just buy them nearly finished or completely finished and I drive them and enjoy them now.
... Time and Money ... Patience and Luck ....and an agreeable spouse ... lol

Re: New tires on my new toy
To skirt or not to skirt....
Fender skirts change the look of the car. If you like the clean, low streamlined look, put your skirts on.
I wish I had the skirts for my 1959 Sport Fury. I have seen old photos of my car with her skirts on but they have been gone two owners ago.

Re: ALLPAR ARTICLE.
I saw the movie but was never a big fan of this horror film. I always thought “Christine” was a 1958 Plymouth Belvedere, but named a Fury created by the mastermind of Horror Stephen King. Some major changes made from the book to movie: Christine now became a two door Fury, like the factory car, with...

Re: Carlisle 2015 - The Forward Look Reunion!
I plan on attending the Carlisle Chrysler Nationals in July 2015. In 2015, they are having a Forward Look Reunion. I was not able to attend Carlisle 2014 this year because my mother-in-law was gravely ill this summer and we were managing her welfare. According to their web site, this show field will...

There is one bid on this car auction on eBay. This means the car will be sold to one new owner in less than a week.
