Hi Dick, i actually grabbed one off of a 56 that recently came in the yard i go to. I am going to pick up a spare belt tonight after work. I had the same thoughts. Really a fun car to drive. Can't wait to see how she is on the turnpike.

Good Morning All, Sally had a gen light on so i checked all the connections and still the light was on..I found a N.O.S. regulator on evil bay and installed it but now it is throwing 17.7 volts. Is there some way to adjust this. I did polarize it before i started the engine. Thanks Mark Hoyt Reading...

Sorry I missed you guys. I was at the tent about twenty til 12 and didn't see any body perhaps next year. I didn't see much for parts for me either.

Interesting, ....this car was bought by a farmer back in the day and i suspect cost was the biggest factor. but i like bare bones less to fail.

Hi Guys, My Savoy has only mats and it does have a heater but nothing else, also powered by the flathead six and a three speed trans. I think this qualifies as bare bones. But simplicity rules in my book.

Thanks Guys , I Like her she is all complete and believe it or not only 32k original miles. I think after the P.O broke the tranny in 71 he parked it.
