hesitation/missing under load?
I have a 313 poly in my 59 fury. It was giving me hesitation under load. I changed my plugs, wires, carburator, set timing, installed new points, condensor, rotor/cap, coil. Then I went to the fuel pump, installed a new one, put a pressure tester in line. It read about 7 psi and the plastic fuel filter...

Re: 313 poly crank pulley
Thanks for the info. What worried me was the actual weight difference between the "hub/pulley" like the one on my picture and the "7 pound dampener with the bolt on pulley style which is the other option, if I do that the degrees indicator for the timing has to be removed from the tim...

Re: 1959 plymouth fury
A few more pics! The underneath looks like it rolled off of the assembly line as well. I got luckey. I am the third owner, the previous owner had the car for about 40 years and never took it out when it even was raining. He was very sad to see it go.

Re: 1959 plymouth fury
John, Thanks for the compliment and interest. I am from Sudbury, which is in Northern Ontario. Here are a few pics of the 59 plymouth. I am having a difficult time sending multiple photos all at once, here are a few at a time. More pics are on the way, I just sent my original steering wheel to Calif...

Re: 313 poly running hot
Thanks for all of your help guys! I apoligize, what I meant was farenheit. I just thought that 200 degrees F was too hot. I guess for now I will just drive it and wait until it breaks itself in.
Thanks for the replys!

313 poly crank pulley
Hi there, can anyone tell me if the crank pulley/balancer on a 313 poly is the same on a 318 poly? I have a 59 plymouth fury with a 313 poly. The crank pulley is a little warped and when running stretches the belts. I ordered a balancer from a 318 poly balancer and the pulley bolts onto the balancer...

313 poly running hot
Hi there, I just got my 313 poly rebuilt last summer and put about 45 km on it. I noticed that the motor runs hot. Is it maybe because it is still tight? How hot is it supposed to run? I know that the cast engines run hot, I placed a temp gun to the thermostate housing and it read about 200 degrees ...
