That sounds good. Mine emit light but are crumbling due to age. You are right, repros can bring big bucks. The trick is to make enough to get your investment back. Thanks for the info. Fortunately i did find a few cans of correct Mopar paints out there. More expensive than usual but i got the per can price down by buying several and combining shipping. Steve White motors carries a nice selection.

1959 Savoy 2dr sedan

Bought for running gear only. previous owner completely disassembled it. things thrown in car haphazardly. trunk no good, but front passenger fender and hood great, drivers fender fair, doors good. all glass is out and available. who knows what all is there or is not there. will sell quickly for $20...

My 361 is so dirty I can not tell original colors. I am to believe the engine is red with gold valve covers and air cleaner. Does anybody have correct color engine paint part numbers from Mopar or other sources?

Tom and I got together today. I was doing volunteer work for a High School Poker Run and Tom was on his way to a Car Museum opening. Here's a couple of pics of our cars side by side. Next time I will take the 59 Sport Fury!

Bought the car in SO CAL. Family was selling and son said it was his Dad's and he was selling it for his mother. Also mentioned he had another 59 Fury (Not a Sport) but would not give me much info. Maybe later on he will as he said eventually he will be putting it up for sale. Will post if this happ...

Thanks for the replies. I purchased the 59 from Southern Cal, will be here in a few days I hope. Really excited to get it. Not a show car but the price was fair for the condition. Of course if any one has a 1959 Sport Fury 361 air cleaner....(wishful thinking Iam guessing)
