The Lambdin's Road Trip to Carlisle

The Lambdin's started out from home at 2 PM Friday and arrived just around 4 PM Friday afternoon. The car had severe hesitation about 30 miles outside of Carlisle - no real diagnosis. Around 6 PM Friday night we tried leaving Carlisle for dinner with everyone but the '59 would not start! One hour la...

Re: Tom Fox's Road Trip 08

Hi Tom and Merle, That is really great that you will post along the way. I like what I see so far regarding your Belvedere and can't wait to see it in person. I plan to bring my '59 Savoy up to Carlisle and Hang-out as long as we can make the trip (only two hours for me). Have a safe trip - I am loo...

Re: How 'bout them Portawalls...

Dan,

I like the port a walls - any idea how long they should last?
I remember seeing some of these at car shows that were failing (coming unglued) but I have no idea how long they were on the car and how thwy were installed.

Re: Yes, we were hacked again

Re: Can't get'er started

Yes, It was a linkage problem as suspected (large hex head hitting side of carb but hidden from view).
Should get it back together today. Then the cleanup begins.

Thanks for all the help.
