Re: Ron, Marjo and Matthew
Matthew, Ron and Marjo, I am glad that you have a new addition to your family. The car seemed to arrived unharmed. I sent a car to Germany a few years back and there are no promises that the car would arrive unharmed. I was not allowed to ship anything in the trunk except wheel covers. The Customs f...

Happy Belated Birthday Ron! Is Roger's car part of your birthday present or will it belog to Matthew? I see it was Steve's Birthday recently as well - Happy Birthday Steve. I just turned 55 on September 29th so I am a Libra as well. Dan, Are the birthdays listed all in one place? Congratulations and...

Re: Lake Mirror Classic Auto Festival
Dick, The car looked great on the show field. There was some pretty tough competition (I loved the Black Chrevy!) I bet not many people noticed the spare tire on your car with the skirts on. Besides they would have been blinded by the beauty of the rest of thr car itself to notice a misplaced tire! ...

Re: Ron, Marjo and Matthew
Congratulations to the Keig Family and condolences to Roger. I am sure the Convertible will be well taken care off and we will still see plenty of pictures from the new owners. Roger, you can still offer your expert opinion - the only thing you are missing is the ability to verify things by walking ...

Congratulations Frank! I really hoped you found a car for the wedding.
If you were desparate you could have used my car but it is far from red and only a Savoy!
Great meeting you - have a long and prosperous marriage.
Hope to ee you again soon!

Busy Years's end
All, Sorry my posts have been limited. I celebrated my 31st anniversary by going to the Emergency Room with an elbow/arm full of staff infection (MRSA). One week in the hospital , elbow surgery, and one week at home on meds. Now seeing a home nurse 10 days straight to take care of another infection....

AAA PICKS A MOPAR
Okay so it's not a '59 - but i'ts nice to see that AAA picked a Mopar to represent their 100 year anniversary. Neat to see a 1958 Plymouth picture taken in that period. Interesting story that 7 men met on April 20, 1900 in PHILADELPHIA to create an Auto Club. Curt Yes I have Triple A (AAA) and have...

Re: OK, so it's not a '59...
John and Ken,
I agree, nice land yacht! I drove a '76 Thunderbird and it felt the same way. We also owned a '70 Chrysler Newport that would qualify as a land yacht - just not as much chrome!
Congratulations,
Curt
